Cadet of the Month

Every month, the leadership team accepts nominations for the Cadets of the Month. All Tanner Squadron cadets are eligible to earn this title by their willingness to participate in school and extracurricular activities. He/she/they is/are normally considered an unsung hero who usually does not receive recognition, yet is constantly dependable, kind, and enthusiastic about the AFJROTC program. He/she/they is/are a student who acts with integrity and displays a positive attitude. At the end of every month, we will acknowledge 2 cadets, one being an Officer and Enlisted!

What we look for in a cadet:

  • Actively participates in class and AFJROTC/school events

  • Displays good manners

  • Is honest

  • Is respectful toward his/her peers, faculty and is respected in return

  • Demonstrates responsibility and trustworthiness

  • Displays leadership and a willingness to help

  • Consistently a positive role model

  • Exhibits an optimistic and mature attitude
