Drill Meet Expectations

Cadets, our next drill meet is THIS SATURDAY, 9 MARCH. Here are some things you need to know:

Keep up with the schedule on TeamSnap so we can get in as much time as possible for practices.
– Showtime is 06:15 AM at PVMHS. Everyone will be meeting at the front of the school. Make sure your schedule is cleared for Saturday (call out of work, etc.), and if you need a ride to the school in the morning, let me or someone know by THURSDAY of this week.
–  Bring your uniform to school with you ON WEDNESDAY in a garment bag or a bag from the dry cleaners. Make sure you have every item with you (this includes the undershirt, top, coat, pants, socks, flight caps, and any extra things you may need). We will be wearing drill hoodies or jackets for the drive! If you do not have either, please wear something ROTC-related. Ladies will need to at least have their hair done in the AM.

– Male cadets should have their hair cut and IN REGULATION. Shave SATURDAY MORNING so it is fresh! Female cadets will be wearing BUNS, make sure they are tidy. If you need help, don’t be afraid to ask. The go bag has bobby pins, hairspray, elastics, etc. No more than three conservative rings. If you have nail polish/acrylics on, please make sure you either take it off or check to see if the color/length is in regs. Only one set of studs in your ears!

– Clean and buff out any scuffs on your corframs, we want them to look neat and put together.

– Flight caps should be clean and brought with EVERYONE. If you do not have one, please let me know ASAP.

– There will be food items available during the day, but you may absolutely bring whatever necessities you see fit. Bring cash if you plan on grabbing something!

Lastly, the Inspection questions are posted on Google Classroom. I will attach the Quizlet here, but please make sure you KNOW THESE!

The schedule is posted on the event link!

Newsletter Feature

Hello everyone! I have implemented a new feature on the website called the newsletter. Essentially, on the right side of the homepage, you will see a new section called newsletter, allowing you to enter your full name and your email address to receive emails every time there is a new post, event, and other important announcements.

This is great for parents who are curious about the program and want to know what cadets or the program is getting into. If this sounds interesting to you, it would be nice to subscribe! Thank you!

Marksmanship Practice 3/4-3/5
